“Always: Sunset on Third Street 3” is set in 1964 Tokyo as Japan, having emerged from the shadow of World

1964 Olympics in Tokyo. The inhabitants of Third Street live amidst all the
change in their usual optimistic ways, but a turning point for the familes is
looming.
