It's time to break out the lights and inflatable snowmen; Christmas is in the air, especially in Tupelo! Kick off your holiday season with us at the Oren Dunn Open House and Lighting of Ballard Park on Thursday night. On Saturday morning, head downtown for the annual Reed's Tupelo Christmas Parade at 10 A.M. Also on Friday and Saturday is both Mississippi State and Ole Miss ice hockey at the BancorpSouth Arena. And to work off all that turkey and dressing you ate last week, find your running shoes and participate in the Santa Run 5K downtown on Saturday morning or brave the ice and check out public ice skating sessions on Saturday and Sunday at the BCS Arena. November 12-18
This is the last week before the holiday season really hits, so take a deep breath and enjoy yourself in Tupelo this week. The Oren Dunn Museum currently has a quilt and vintage clothing exhibit, so take a stroll back in time. This weekend the Gumtree Museum of Art is celebrating the upcoming holiday season with the third annual Sip & Shop Preview Party. Also downtown this weekend will be the Downtown Merchants' Christmas Open House on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. On Saturday, the Tupelo Film Alliance will be hosting guest speaker Ward Emling, director of the State Film Office. And the BancorpSouth Arena welcomes back the ice rink and everything that goes with it - MSU Hockey this on Friday and Saturday as well as public ice skating times this weekend. So enjoy this last week before the holiday madness arrives!

November 5-11
After the election dust settles, there's lots to do this weekend in Tupelo. On Friday night, the BancorpSouth Arena will host the Gaither Homecoming Concert. On Saturday, lace up your running shoes for the Shakerag Half-Marathon and compete for your best time. But if you're trying to find something new, this weekend is the Flea Market and Craft Show at the Tupelo Furniture Market. The weather will be fairly nice this weekend, so if you need something to do, head out to Elvis's Birthplace to see the new renovations if you haven't already. Hope you have a great week!
