October 22-28

It's finally feeling like fall around Tupelo, and the abundance of Halloween activities around town helps move that feeling right along.  Tonight at Ballard Park, take the kids out for the Halloween Egg Haunt and Trick or Treat., or visit the Pumpkin Patch at the Buffalo Park. Get a group of friends together and visit the Haunted Theatre at the Lyric on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday for a good scare.  But for a good laugh, head to the Link Centre for their special showing of Ghostbusters on Thursday night.  After you dress up for the movie, dress your pets up for the Little Hound Dogs Pet Costume Contest at Veteran's Park on Saturday. Also this week, special guest filmmaker Michael Zimmer will be in town on Tuesday night to screen his film "The Entertainers" at the Link Centre.  And it might be hard to get into the Christmas spirit this early, but shop around Celebration Village on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday to get a hint of Christmas joy.  Have a great week!
