July 30 - August 5
Take a deep breath before next week begins, and relax with this week's activities. On Thursday, the Movies in the Park series continues with King Creole. Pack up a few lawn chairs and head on over to Fairpark to catch this Elvis film. And speaking of the King, Elvis Week activities begin next week and include Marty Stuart and Eden Brent as a part of the Down on Main concert series, the unveiling of the new Elvis statue at Fairpark, and the completion of Birthplace renovations. And to get in that final workout before school begins, check out the new cross country trails across the street from Veterans Park. Happy Monday!
